Dawson Trail History Inspires a Search for Gold!
In my work as Founder of the Dawson Trail Arts and Heritage Tour, we brought to life many stories of the people, places and events surrounding the building of Canada's first all-Canadian access road to the West. Among these is the tale of lost gold intended for the Wolseley Expedition at Fort Garry that remains missing to this day. It captured the attention of 3Story Pictures Production out of Saskatchewan who turned it into a documentary series titled "Red River Gold" that airs Monday nights at 8:30PM Central time on the Aboriginal Public Television Network. I had the pleasure of assisting as Community Liaison in this Production and am thrilled to see the trail's history come to life like never before! Tune in for the adventure!
